JOHN BALL & SONS,

--- Insurance Brokers, ---

ABINGTON STREET, NORTHAMPTON.

Perhaps one of the most important things all Manufacturers have to consider is the question of Insurance, in one or more of its many branches. Established in 1890, the firm of Messrs. John Ball & Sons, Insurance Brokers, who have twice had to take larger premises, their last move being to their present commodious offices, No. 65, Abington Street, Northampton, hold the foremost position in Insurance Circles, rightly claiming that they have the largest connection in the Boot, Shoe and Leather Trades of anyone in the Kingdom. Having specialised in this class of business, their enterprise is justified by the success of their efforts. Manufacturers having fullest confidence in the firm, as they have the further advantage of being in touch with all the leading Offices and Lloyds, and consequently have unrivalled opportunities of placing each risk to the best advantage - it being a well-known fact that, like Boot Manufacturers, some Insurance Companies prefer one class of risk, and some Companies another class. The firm also have offices in Luton, Reading and Oxford to further facilitate the handling of business in those districts.

Apart from business interests Mr. J. Ball is well known in charitable circles in the town, taking a large interest in the working of the Fresh Air Fund, the Christmas Dinner Fund, the Northampton Blind Association, and the Municipal Charities. We might just mention that Mr. Ball has two sons, members of the firm, serving with His Majesty's Forces.
