This case was adjourned last bench day for further evidence on both sides. Supt. Hague had no doubt that they were both drunk, and P.C. Poultney gave the same acconnt. Several witnesses were then examined on behalf of the accused, but the Bench being satisfied that the charge had been fully proved, imposed a fine upon each of ss. and costs. |
